My first visit was long waiting and not a fan of the no -appointment system. It was a good experience. Everyone did what was expected of them due to the circumstances. Just learning LOLA my Cat's disease is rare and may not be reversible, the second visit was all around a strange vibe was what I experienced at that visit on Sept. 29th, 2026. I believe LOLA thought so too. First, I'm not going to tell people who don't probably need to know this situation due to their nasty character! Plus I feel it's not warranted like that, but what I will say Dr. Albright, is these word's I did not comprehend, too much scar tissue, couldn't collect as much fluid thus time. You didn't even show me the sharenge this time, which I believe was more important now than the first time. No major instructions for me. No plan B. No second or 3rd opinions? My cat still has not come out of her room she sleeps in to visit with me, and wants a belly and chest rub with my feet. That's our normal-daily routine. I feel some how I broke my Trust with her. But 100% 4sure, she has not been herself since the visit! And I would like for you, Stonehouse too honor the words of if one's experience wasn't good etc. That to reach out, and you would do your best to take care of the situation.. So, I'm asking you to examine LOLA'S condition now, her moods now. Her not being herself. This cat means more to me than rumors ever can. Thank you, Don Courtney & LOLA. Had a cat that was having some serious issues. They were very nice and helpful. Glad they allow walk ins.

Stone house was kind and caring on my visit. My 8lb Yorkie had cancer lived few weeks after diagnosis. But when I returned to have her euthanized the charges were outrageous! Triple what I had expected. I feel completely taken advantage of at this point and wound not recommend this clinic.

I am extremely upset and disappointed with our experience at Stonehouse Vet, and we will not be returning. My spouse brought our dog in because she had a nail that was partially torn off and was causing her significant pain. She ultimately needed the nail cauterized. From the moment they saw her, we felt like she was being treated differently because she is a Pit Bull. Our dog lives with other dogs and cats and has never had issues with them. While we were there, there was another, larger dog that was barking at and antagonizing her. Naturally, she became upset and barked back. She was already in pain from her injured foot, and becoming worked up caused her to hurt herself even more and start crying and squealing. Instead of recognizing that she was a hurt, frightened dog reacting to another dog barking at her, it felt like the blame was placed on my spouse and our dog. My spouse was spoken to disrespectfully and made to feel like he was doing something wrong for not being able to keep her completely calm and away from the other dog, even though the other dog continued barking at her. He was trying to hold her paw and comfort her while she was scared and in pain. What upset me most was the way our dog was treated. She wanted attention and comfort, but the staff acted as though she was going to attack them. It felt like everyone in the room had already decided she was a “bad” or “scary” dog simply because of her breed. Our dog is not an aggressive dog. She is a loving family pet who lives peacefully with other animals. I understand that veterinary staff have to be cautious around animals, especially when they are scared or in pain, but there is a huge difference between being cautious and making a pet and their owner feel judged, blamed, and disrespected. We went there because our dog was hurt and needed help. Instead, my spouse left feeling like he and our dog were the problem. That experience was extremely upsetting for our family. We will not be returning to Stonehouse Vet, and based on our experience, I cannot and will not recommend them.
